Wheee! You're back! And with Grimm fic. I love reading your writing. I'm afraid when they took Adelaide's baby away from her, I had a panic attack and never watched the show again, but if you can tell me she got her back and all was well, I might give the show a try again. That was just one of those things that I couldn't handle watching. Cut off people's heads? I'm right there. Kidnap a baby? I'm so out of there. Trigger warning much? If you can reassure me that mommy and baby got back together and lived happily ever after, I would go back and watch the rest because I loved everything else about the show.
I have not yet Game of Throned. I'm waiting for it to be finished. So alas, I cannot help you there.
I'm on Tumblr as honorat or Spleenish Weasel. My current fandoms are Leverage and The Librarians--a crossover between the two is trying to eat my brain. So I am irresponsibly writing fic if you want to check it out here or on fanfic.net or on AO3
All the best in the job hunt. Whoever gets you will be lucky!
I had a HUGE problem with that storyline. Huge. Particularly with the fact that the *good guys* didn't sit down and have a conversation with Adalind -- who yes, is evil and manipulative and has done a lot of Very Bad Things -- wherein they said "here's the deal, some heavy hitters are after your kid and she needs to be hidden" and made her a part of things. What went down was unworthy of people who are supposed to be the heroes.
As of yet, she hasn't gotten her baby back, but she's raised all kinds of hell in the attempts, the fallout of which will be the subject of my next fic, and it will be Juliette-centric, because Juliette is twelve flavors of awesome. She's got a potentially uber-nifty story happening right now.
"Spleenish Weasel" is the most amazing name ever.
I will definitley read your fic. I don't watch those shows (actually right now I don't watch anything I can't catch free online because I have no cable, Netflix, or paid Hulu) but your stuff is boss regardless. :D
Well, I look forward to your fix-it fic. But that was a game ender for me. Talk about the trump of every single one of my personal nightmares!
Both those shows are team stories with humour and broken characters and lovely arcs and interesting information and lots of competence porn. Also strong female characters whose stories are as important as those of the men. And by strong, I don't mean just kickass. I mean real.

Here's a link to the first episode of The Librarians for however long it stays up: The Librarians and the Crown of King Arthur
It's the televised version which is not as good as the extended cut on iTunes but it introduces the characters.
Here's a link to the first episode of Leverage: Leverage: The Nigerian Job
That way you can at least have an idea of the characters.
