son of a squidmonkey this must be the worst night's sleep i've gotten here. have woken up at least 3 times, due to be awake in 3.5. time to give it another try. at least it's mildly quieter on high holborn at 4am. seriously what are people doing driving/walking around at this hour? fighting crime a la batman? most clubs close at 3:30.

decided to explore Camden Market, which encompasses 7 street markets. Positively huge, bigger than any street market in China. Not as cheap, but cheaper than normal retail here. [edit]. Borough Market is sweet, it's like fresh fruit, veggies, and meat, and fairly cheap. Lots of quintessential English food too, like blackcurrant wine, goose fat spread, gooseberries, bread, English cheeses, fresh fish, meat pies/pasties, strawberry tarts, etc. Ate a venison wrap and a goat's cheese/sweet potato pie. Just watched Batman Begins avec Paula (HAPPY BIRTHDAY <3 hope you like your present), Mango (thanks for the ticket), Liz, and Liz's friend. Personally thought it was an awesome film.
