Man, it's been such a long time, but you remember when we went to that beach about an hour out from LA? I don't think I've ever seen quite so many jellyfish attached to one person before, but then I guess they felt an affinity for her gelatinous (and thoroughly fake) boobs. Of course, I'm sure you didn't help matters by offering to pee on her to help the welts. I'm not even sure if that really works and I know you were just being a butthead anyway. Still, I don't think I've ever heard someone on foot achieve the Doppler effect before. I tried to catch her and pull the jellyfish off but I was still buried up to my neck in the sand...and I guess I was laughing too hard. Uncharitable, I know, but what can you do?
I remember that night in... where was that, Khazakstan? Uzhbekistan?... one of those places. Anyway, we'd just arrived in this pathetic excuse for a village in the middle of nowhere, and suddenly we were surrounded by at least 20 disreputable-looking guys, all yelling and waving rifles in our faces.
I thought for sure we were going to be shot then and there - I'm still not exactly sure why we weren't, but suddenly they were all laughing, and we all went together to this sort of cabin-like building that served as their town hall - I remember the linoleum floor of it, green and yellow squares, and how weird it seemed that they had linoleum in such a place. The big antique samovar was the coolest thing, though - I'll bet it was from before the Russian revolution; probably worth as much as the rest of the village put together.
Anyway, what a great night that turned out to be! All the dancing - sheesh, those guys could dance, but you kept right up with them, while I was trying my best to match my pennywhistle with that one guy's

I remember that one time where we were camping, and Andrew totally wouldn't get up, so you, me, and Colin took the tent down when he was still in it. ;)
