Ram awoke. He had walked most of the night and fallen asleep in an alley. He didn't have any worries of sleeping on the ground of a dirty alley, he was happy. Moz had headed out early toward the market. She needed to keep up-to-date. Now especially. But she wasn't off her own turf when she noticed a guy up ahead walking casually. Irritated she headed toward him. "Hey! What are you doing here?"

Ram stopped in his tracks. He looked obidently at the girl dressed in black. "I was visiting a sick friend, bringing him medicine and all. I decided to take this way home because I thought it would be a shortcut. I didn't mean to disturb anyone." He lied and shifted his pack to his other shoulder.

"Visiting a sick friend, huh? And you just decided to shortcut through Mosquito turf?" Moz circled around him. "I don't know who you are, but you need to learn to lie better." She hit her whip against her leg. "My turf ain't for just anyone to stroll across. So either you're too new in town to know any better, or you're here to cause trouble...so - " She stopped in front of him, "What's the answer? And I'd be careful not to waste my time with more lies..."

Ram gulped at the sight of her whip. "The t-truth is...I'm new. I didn't know this was anyone's turf. I was just trying to find somewhere to stay for awhile." He said as he eyed her whip nervously.

Ved and Cloe took a side street so that they could take their time getting to the market. They hear voices that seem familiar to Ved. They hide behind trash can and hope they are not seen.

"Ved, what's going on? I'm scared." She whispered. What if they were caught? She knew people wouldn't be ecstatic to see Ved with her. And the city still thought she was crazy. A former Techno and a crazy. Great. "Ved..." She whispered. "That person sounds familiar."
