Soldier AI, again again.

How long have you been working on this game now?

I am sure you can improve it all the time, but it will go on and on. If you like it to go on and on, then that's okay. But wouldn't you feel better if you could at some point finish it?

Yes, I was just saying to Barbara that it seems like the reason I never finish the game is because I keep going back and re-doing old parts of it. And I was hoping to finish it before summer gets here.

However, as the game gets larger and more complicated, it becomes necessary to keep each part of it as simple and efficient as possible. Before I finish making the rest of the missions in the game, I need to make sure each part of it is working optimally so that finishing the missions will go as smoothly as possible. I don't want to end up in a situation where I have to change something, and then change it in each of 40 different missions too.

And I suppose the bottom line is, I still do enjoy working on it. So if it doesn't get finished in the very near future, that's okay. I was worried that by now, I might be tired of working on it, but it doesn't seem like I am.

I just noticed I didn't answer your question. According to my old journal, I started working on it on November 24th, 2004. So it's been one year and 3 months.
