Here are my answers to chirping_monkey's questions:
1) What would it take for you to cut your hair short?
I'd probably have to have a girlfriend who really wanted it short, but even then I'm not sure. I like how I look with it long. The only other thing that would probably do it is if I somehow got some big acting part in a movie or if I was going to be some sort of government spy and needed to disguise myself. Pretty unlikely on both accounts though since I'm not really pursuing either as a career. It would also be temporary in both cases.
2)What's the most you've ever had to drink in an evening?
One time in college I drank about 3/4's a bottle of cheap Scotch. I think that's the most alcohol by volume I've had to drink in an evening. Felt fine the next day.
3)How many times have you been in love? How many times did you think you were?
By my estimate I've been in love 5 times. I've only mistakenly thought I was in love when I really wasn't, twice.
4)Why do you live in the valley (not why did you move here, why did you stay)?
I've stayed in part because there are a lot of people around here that I enjoy gaming with and I have a lot of friends back here from high-school. It's also not just the people I game with but the fact that even if some of them leave, there are a lot of other groups in the area. I also like the environment/weather of New England in general.
5)Who's your favorite local politician?
I'm not much into politics, certainly not local politics. I am however a big fan of Ted Kennedy (if that's local enough). In part because he's been doing good work for the Democratic party and been around for such a long time, but also because there have been a great many jokes made about him in good humor.
