Shiny new parts...

Warhammer Online is coming out soon and...well, my current system has lasted me a while, but barely meets the minimum specs (actually it falls a little short in the CPU department). So I caved and bought parts to build me a new one:

Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 Kentsfield 2.4GHz 2 x 4MB L2 Cache LGA 775 Quad-Core Processor - OEM
2 x PNY VCG98512GXEB GeForce 9800 GT 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card (for Dual SLI)
ASUS P5N-D LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 750i SLI ATX Intel Motherboard
2 x SAMSUNG Spinpoint F1 HD502lJ 500GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive (mirrored)
G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory
CORSAIR CMPSU-620HX 620W ATX12V v2.2 and EPS12V 2.91 Power Supply

All of this will be hosted in a fancy new case that I will be painting with some sort of dragon scale pattern and possibly some lighting and other modding. Hopefully that will be done before open beta.

Also I'm still working on getting my Japan trip pictures posted, as soon as I find a good free php-based gallery I can put on my website.

computer, warhammer
