I enjoy Men of a Certain Age, but not that much.

Is #14 out of 15 that much? I'd say it's only managed one uniformly great episode ("Go With the Flow"), so I was originally gonna just highlight that on the episodes list, but decided I was pleased enough by its run to make the bottom tier of my list. It's mostly an enjoyable hang-out show with a smattering of wonderful moments. I'm particularly fond of anything with Joe and his bookie, mainly in how far they're willing to take the strangeness of those characters while still feeling realistic and capturing some genuine sadness.

I hope you like The Monitor. I didn't think the whole blast-the-speakers punk sound would be up your alley, but "A More Perfect Union" is the only song I know of that quotes both Lincoln and The Dark Knight, so I felt I at least had to play you that.
