I could write a book on how we let the only real money making market we had which was housing, so terribly fail because of our own greed and arrogance.
I guess its all moot now though, all that we need to do is focus on how to change the way we conduct ourselves so we don't run the risk of tearing everything we all work so hard to build nationally every 20 years or so.
i agree, there is precious little sustainability in the current model that is on its way out.
Make no mistake about it, you have the privilege to experience a seismic shift first hand. Over 30 years of deregulation and financial engineering are going out the window. Pretty crazy stuff at the moment.
