I went to visit Dave Saunders again, you know the guy who saved me? And he gave me a JOB! He owns a pub and I get to work in the back or something! I can start whenever I'm ready, which is really good because I still have tonnes of schoolwork first, and I still hurt but I'm getting better and all caught up and then I'll be making money and that'

I'm more committed to doing well in my life because I fucked it up for so long. And that was bad. And Dave gets that. I like that there's someone who really understands. And who'll keep me straight too... Did I tell you he tried to give me the lecture Spectre gave me?

Dave's a great guy. He's been through a lot of what I've been through. And he had a teenage son that died, so I think it's nice for him. I stopped by on my way to school and they made me scones!

I'm excited about the job too, but I hope I never have to take out the trash. I don't want to see that alley again...

I don't know how much we can believe in destiny, but it's hard to believe that it's just coincidence that you and Dave have met. At the very least, it's very serendipitous. I'm very happy for both of you.

It's currently trying. I tired myself out with lots of walking and Dad is making me eat a whole pizza. I am not complaining. How I thought I could get along without him is beyond me...

I was sort of thinking the same thing too... He and his wife are such great people. I hope I make them happy.
