Two Requested Tutorials.

Keep in mind that I do not save .psd files so icons may be a bit different from original ones.

Photoshop CS // Selective Coloring // Adjustment Layers // Requires basic Photoshop Knowledge.

Start with your cropped base, 100px x 100px.



1.) Layer >> Duplicate Layer.
Set this layer to "screen" 100% opacity.



2.) Layer >> Duplicate Layer. (The screened layer we just created).
Set this layer once again to "screen" at 100% opacity.



3.) Create a new Adjustment Selective Color layer.
Layer >> New Adjustment Layer >> Selective Color (These presets were found in a tutorial by _chokeanddie
Put in the following presets:
Reds:
Cyan: -100
Yellow: +100
Yellows:
Cyan: -100
Yellow: +100
Greens
Magenta: +100
Yellow: +100
Black: +100



4.) Create a new Adjustment Selective Color Layer.
Layer >> New Adjustment Layer >> Selective Color (These presets were also found in a tutorial by _chokeanddie
Put in the following presets:
Reds:
Cyan: -100
Yellow: +100
Yellows
Cyan: +40
Magenta: -40
Yellow: -100
Black: +30
Neutrals:
Cyan: +18
Yellow: -11
Black: -8



5.) Create a new Adjustment Levels Layer.
Layer >> New Adjustment Layer >> Levels.
Put in the following presets:
Input Levels: 85, 1.00, 255



6.) Now we want to bring more of the Blue out.
Create a new Adjustment Selective Color Layer.
Layer >> New Adjustment Layer >> Selective Color.
Put in the following presets:
Reds:
Cyan: -70
Magenta: -30
Yellow: -27
Black: +75
Yellows
Cyan: -60
Magenta: -27
Yellow: -27
Black: -28
Neutrals
Cyan: +100
Magenta: -12
Yellow: -40
Black: +5



7.) Create a new Hue/Saturation Adjustment Layer.
Layers >> New Adjustment Layer >> Hue/Saturation.
Add the folowing presets.
Saturation: +5



8.) Create a new Levels Adjustment Layer.
Layer >> New Adjustment Layer >> Levels.
Add the following presets:
Input Levels: 10, 1.00, 255.




And you are all set!

Magenta: +21
Yellow: +63
Yellows:
Cyan: -85
Magenta: +24
Yellow: +25



5.) Create a new Adjustment Levels Layer.
Layer >> New Adjustment Layer >> Levels
Insert the following presets:
Input Values: 135, 1.00, 255



6.) Create a new Adjustment Hue/Saturation Layer.
Layer >> New Adjustment Layer >> Hue/Saturation.
Insert the following presets:
Saturation: +10



And you are done!
