Well, I certainly received some...interesting news. Father says that his progress in Egypt isn't going well at all...
He told me he's going to cut my...allowance, if you will. He's going to give me no more mmoney to help support myself. 'You're an adult now Ryou,' he said. 'You need to start acting like one, including paying for your own bills. You told me that you teach piano. Get a better job, one in a restaurant or a convenience store that will pay more money until you get your major. Oh, and Piano Preformance isn't a good major. Change it when you get home. No son of mine is going to be a pianist.'
I don't think I can do as he wishes, even if I tried...I love the piano too much! To give up teaching...I don't think I can. Mana, Aiko, and Ren are pleasures to teach. I don't think I can let that go.
I'm sorry Father. You'll have to be disappointed in me...once again.
Mana, I'll be at home this weekend, if you want to come and learn Christmas carols. I know it's a little close to Christmas, but I have your Christmas present, if you'd like it two days early on Saturday.

I think I'm going to enjoy the rest of my Holiday season on my break. We go back to classes on January the third, and I'm not ready for second semester. If anyone wants to come over, I welcome the company. I'm starting to feel like I'm ignoring people again...
