and Laura didn't believe it got that hot in Canada...well...today's proof. It was 35 C (about 95 F) before humidity, and 48 C (118 F) with the humidity.

while the numbers mean different things to different people, I sum it up this way:

too bloody fucking hot.

Before I had AC, but after I graduated out of Pentium 3's into chips that actually run hot, I wouldn't even turn my computer on when it got that hot. Nothing I could do would make it run cool enough for my taste.

I have the AC in the house on. It's set to about 80, but my room is always hotter then the rest of the house, so I'd say it's about 85, maybe 90. And ya, I hate having my computer on in this weather, but I have a small fan pointed at it.
