when I had first heard that quote I was amazed. I thought it was a good analyzation of how life can be with love and relationships.

Yes, the past is the past but when affects and can affect the future then you do have to look at that. As far as knowing what love is, I too know what it can do and how it can make you feel but i also know that if there are demons that chase you fromt he past you must face them before ever tryingt to go on. It also may be past happenings that alter the path that you follow. I know what you are getting at and in what goes on now you do not understand. The past will chase you no mater where you go. You cant run. Not forever. The song you talk of is called Surrender. i cant remember who its by. I fully agree with turning over a new leaf when it is needed but dont try to be something or someone your not. To do a 180 change is just that. It isnt the true person you are.
