Actually i kinda agree with the Aussies... we really don't do as much as we can... though we do do a lot considering out pretty pathetic armed forces. we can do more! more asbestos! more asbestos!
I dunno, I think what Canada is doing is very valuable. Sure, you can go for the iron-fist option, but that's not solving the problem, only adding to it. Whereas Canada tends to work more towards solving the problem, which can only be done through diplomatic means IMHO.
Also worth noting is that the geopolitical environment _is_ very different. For better or worse, Canada is a 2nd-rate power in the area. OTOH Australia is hands-down the biggest player in the South Pacific, and thus has bigger responsibilities (and a bigger influence). I don't think a unilateral comparison of the two is reasonable unless you take into account the environment.

What do you mean we have to stay here to rebuild? don't we have those Smart Bombs that can do that?
And we should probably beef up our armed forces, come on Denmark envaded with us bearly even realizing it.
