You are really spun up about this, aren't you? You're the only one on my f-list still going on about it. Are people I don't know about as spun up on the other side, or are you on this bus all by yourself?
When I clicked the "view other answers" link, there were no less than three recent answers that were bitching about being passionate about the First Amendment or about when people infringe on free speech, all using the content flagging system as an example. My answer was largely in response to those.
Those answers have largely dropped off the list of previous answers by this point, and thankfully been replaced by more interesting things.
In the past, I worked for a large internet provider, and sat next to the abuse/terms of service department. That was always an interesting line of discussion for them. "No sir, *the company* has not violated your first ammendment rights, *the company* is not congress."
It was very interesting sitting next to a customer service group that had no obligation to be nice to customers, and who did not start out with the assumption that the customer is always (or even occasionally) right.
