I went and saw the J.J. Abrams Star Trek film this last weekend.

I just thought you should know: THAT is how you reinvigorate a franchise, you unforgivable son of a bitch.

I think I even made a comment along the lines of "this was everything Ep 1-3 SHOULD have been" when I came out of the theaters.

I still worry about JJ Abram's obsession with certain prop/setting elements in his works, but I'll refrain from spoiler material here.
