Hey now, to be fair, it's not like he went up to a police man going "Bother. Bother. Bother." It's not his fault the police decided to do their job.
Tell me something, are bantering scenes between folks like these two gentlemen as much fun to write as they are to read?
Well I don't know just how fun to read they are, but...they are a heckuva lot of fun to write ;)
Hopefully Jean will see fit to help out Claude now.
I would say it wouldn't be much of a story if he didn't, but it still could be. So. Hm.
Thank you!

Rest assured, they're a lot of fun to read. Just like watching a well-made action/spy movie where everyone knows more than they're saying and there are conversations going on beneath every conversation. Fun times for sure.

I'm trying to figure what Company!Claude I like better: full sarcasm mode Claude, or the, um, other Claude that will show up later in this. Hmm. Food for thought.
Thank you!

“Know me much too well, you do,” Claude gave a brittle grin, and leaned back in his chair. “Should probably kill you for that.”
That entire exchange is just perfect. You've got such wonderful voices here.

Love that line, such a Claude way of looking at things.
“Right, so,” Claude sighed. “Came back to my hotel today and found myself sans partner, avec mysterious assailant. Took two shots at him, missed the second. Got away before I could restrain him.”
As is that, you really hit his voice in this one, nicely done :)
