This is too much. I can't deal with this much awesome, even if you are spreading it out day to day, it's still too much awesome for me to handle.

Hee. I'm glad you're enjoying it! I was honestly worried it wasn't moving along quickly enough. There's just so much talking!
Thank you!

You know, with Sandra being as big a fan of old movies as I'm pretty sure she is, I'd be surprised if she didn't notice the "Claude Rains" reference. Hm.

I'm sure she has, but I have a feeling that the types of old movies Sandra watches have her more conditioned to recognize Claude Rains as from Casablanca (or most likely Notorious, because that also has Cary Grant in it, and she loves her some Cary Grant).

She does love her some Cary Grant. Maybe Claude made up some story about having the same surname, and his parents being big fans, that seems basically plausible. Though, it's funny, the way he says it to Peter when they meet really sounds like it's supposed to be a joke. And yet, that's the actual name he uses in the Company... Oh, Mister Rains, you're a mystery wrapped in an enigma wrapped in a dirty trenchcoat and surly demeanor.

Who can blame her, though? Man was dreamy. And he had that cleft chin which, quite coincidentally I'm sure, Noah Bennet also has. He really does say it as kind of a throwaway line at Peter, and then...I'm trying to remember if Peter ever actually uses it on screen. Because Thompson and Bennet do. Hmmm, indeed.

And Ben as a name for Claude? Wouldn't have anything to do with a role as Ben Jago, eh? ;)
I'm really enjoying the installments! Gives me something to look forward to in the morning! :)

Mmm, with a police friend named "Jean"? Whyever would you think so? ;) (And drat, I don't have an Othello icon anymore.)
Hee, well, I'm glad! I'd post more often but I think you'd all get sick of them eventually.
