a few days ago, I was fortunate to receive a GMail invite from my sister. you can only obtain an GMail account through invite only. the invite will have a link that you must go to (to activate), in less than 3 days upon receiving.

now you can contact me through these following options:

anita1291@gmail.com
anita-a@socal.rr.com
AOL Instant Messenger: DaFr3aky1
or just by simply commenting.

how do you get an invite, you ask? the more e-mails i receive through anita1291@gmail.com, the more invites i receive.

why is GMail so special, you ask?

A Google approach to email.
Gmail is an experiment in a new kind of webmail, built on the idea that you should never have to delete mail and you should always be able to find the message you want. The key features are:

Search, don't sort.
Use Google search to find the exact message you want, no matter when it was sent or received.

Don't throw anything away.
1000 megabytes of free storage so you'll never need to delete another message.

Keep it all in context.
Each message is grouped with all its replies and displayed as a conversation.

No pop-up ads. No untargeted banners.
You see only relevant text ads and links to related web pages of interest.

I'm going to the taping of the Ellen show on September 7th. That should be interesting.
