Aliases

Mar 15, 2006 15:26

[It's come to my attention (for about the fifth time) that I really ought to have an alias for when I'm out of the Tower in a non-superhero capacity, so that we can avoid the awkward "Umm...he's Vizh" incidents in the future. So...]

[Tell me what you think.] )

*bows* [Would any of these do for an alias for that party?]

The first two would probably be better as serious names, but if you introduce youself as Teal or Hugh you get to be godfather (godandroid?) to my firstborn.

[You probably shouldn't tempt me like that. *grin* I could introduce myself with one of those as my "street" name. "Nobody but my mama calls me Terrance/Christopher".]

Having an alias won't do any good if you don't have a face that we recognize. Decide on your 'human' disguise first. Helps me.

I ... uh.

You have some issues. I think. You're trying to go for a straight look, right?

Changing the hair will help a little.

Changing the clothes will help a lot more.

[..."a straight look"? ...Clothes are evidentally lot more confusing than I first thought.]

Okay, serious now. I like the second one, if you're going for normal. But Teal Original is interesting and I doubt anyone would associate that name with 'Vision'.

You are using name generators to figure your alias? Well, whatever works, right?

Out of these, I like the second one the most. Though I prefer the last name Gladstone with Terrance... just sounds better.

[*shrug* It seemed like a good plan at the time. Thus far, they haven't suggested any female names, so I hopeful that they've overcome their desire to see me in a dress. I'm not going to be using it very often, just for those situations where a nickname would not be applicable.]

[Terrance seems to be the most popular name, thus far. Perhaps I should have a Very British Accent to match?]

*still on the floor laughing* Please... for the sake of my poor, tortured ribs, don't!

British accent? That'd be something I like to see- hear rather.
