Jesus Christ, when do I ever update this thing? Never, obviously. I'm sitting in the library at Suffolk waiting for James' class to end so we can go home for the day. Just took a math test that kind of raped me a little bit. Nothing like what we had done in class...evil teacher. Besides that, all of my classes are going extremely well...I ( Read more... )

I think college can be a good opportunity to really get in touch with reality, or prepare to, too. Getting involved in politics, social justice, understanding cultures, economics.....

Well, sometimes the whole not having to deal with reality can be a good thing. Wouldn't you much rather live in your little world of ignorant bliss for right now instead of being like me, only 18 and getting ready to have a baby within a month? I know I would!
Anyway, I miss you, and you make sure you take care of yourself. I am sad you never got to see me though. You promised to sing to my belly! But when you come back up this way, if you come see me (or I see you when I am in Auburn) and you change one stinky diaper, I will call it good! Hope you are well, and I am glad to hear that your classes are going well this semester!

If you really want to see an alternate reality, visit Hollins University. Of course.. you're not allowed admission as you are of the male gender, but you should still see what I saw. Being in an isolated country campus with famous show horses (I met Lois Lane :|), big lounges, fancy furniture, old and classic buildings, expensive facilities, feminitistic iconography/art, and rocking chairs can be quite blissful. These women quite frankly do not suffer the great consequences of reality - unless you consider falling off your show horse after jumping without your instructor a big reality. They are lucky. Many of them have money.
