I'll talk, but only because I feel like it, and not because you asked.

But you're still talking to me, so it doesn't matter if you did it cus you wanted to or not.

So there.

Right well---

... you're completely off the mark. In fact, you couldn't be any more wrong even if you tried.

I'm only talking to you because I feel like it, and that means I could stop talking whenever I wanted.

Then why don't you? [Really England? You're going to have this argument with a little girl?]

Well that's--

[ SOB it's how he shows his love ]

You sounded a bit lonely, -- not that I'm familiar with loneliness -- so I thought I'd talk to you for a bit.

[Awww, Englaaaand]

... I'm not lonely! [SO THERE]

But if you really want to talk to me, I guess that's okay.

It's not like I'm lonely either, so I suppose that makes us even.

[ ... ]

England.

Good, so we're both not lonely! [But... she'll admit to being alone :<]

You're where? Is there where the Northmen come from? [Oh yes, we're fromt he fun filled times of the VIKINGS]

I've got plenty of friends back at home, and I'm sure they're very lonely without me around to keep them company. Not many people can see them, you see. They're quite shy.

[ THEY COME FROM THE LAND OF ICE AND SNOW ]

Northmen?

[WHAT IS THIS] You have invisible friends?

[YEAH WHERE THE HELL IS THAT]

They're from far to the north. They came to Ireland in long boats in search of gold and burn everything in their path.

Shy, not invisible. They're very shy and they don't like other humans.

[ A SMALL PAUSE AS ENGLAND'S VOICE DROPS IN HAPPINESS LEVELS ]

Oh, those poofs. Vikings. They're from Scandinavia.

Well, humans are really hard to like. [So there]

Scanwhere? ... They're the northmen. [BUT WHATEVER. YOU ARE NOT FROM THERE] Okay, well at least you're not one of them. You talk too good anyway.

mygodmyright June 22 2010, 23:41:02 UTC
They're not all so bad. Some can be downright beastly, but some can be quite pleasant. The nicer ones are just a bit harder to find.

Of course I'm not a Northmen; I'm English. The larger island next to Ireland, you know?

visionofwords June 22 2010, 23:43:12 UTC
Yeah because I've only ever seen two. And they're not here.

... Did you come in here with the big little T's and give them to everyone? They talk about pagans a lot?

Reply

mygodmyright June 22 2010, 23:52:29 UTC
Only two? It's impossible to judge them all when you've only met two--

[ it's finally all clicking in his head ]

... it's a bit odd to ask, but I don't suppose you're not--

You're one of the fae, aren't you?

Nuh uh. I can tell from the northmen and from what Brendan tells me. Maybe some of the brothers at the abbey are okay. Maybe.

[Le pause]

That's what they called us, yeah...
