To say that Sarah had worried him was an understatement. She had talked about how she "deserved damnation", and how she would be happy burning in hell with Luc so long as they were together. How... awful. Whether or not hell existed was beyond the point; the fact that Sarah thought of herself as such made Luc worry for her well-being. Yes, they should have died that night, and yes, they hated being here... but being here, alive with her, was more than enough to keep him at peace of mind.
Luc entered the Inn room, after another long day of studying in the library. The clues were being pieced together slowly but surely, and soon he might have what he needs to gain his solutioin to Sarah's mortality. He couldn't lose her again... hell's existance, or indeed its plausibility to exist, was irrelenvent at this point. He would enter and throw off his coat, not caring that it now laid in a heap on the table, and sat himself down on the bed next to Sarah, kicking off his shoes. Scooting back, he rested his back against the pillows, as he looked in Sarah's direction, trying to present himself in a good mood... or, at least what would be a good mood as far as Luc's personality was concerned. "I'm sorry I wasn't back in time for dinner, Sarah." he said quietly, wondering if she was getting tired of the Giant Crab meat. "Did you at least enjoy it?" he asked, tilting his head to the side, slightly.
