In reading the latest vague report on Gale's recovery (at least this one was more promising than the last), I made the mistake of also reading the comments by readers. Most of them were directed to Gale and one said:
Although I know Mr. Harold will not read as a fellow biker (since 1978)I would like to welcome you to the "HAVE-HAD" motorcycle riders club. This is an exclusive club for bikers that have had a trip to the hospital because of a wreck on your ride! The world is divided into two types of bikers: Have-Nots and Have-Hads. If you ride a motorcyle long enuf your gonna have a trip to the hospital. Scrapes, bruises, roadrash, and other ouchies/owweees don't count. There must be ambulances, emergency + medical personal involved. So Mr. Gale Howard welcome to the unoffical HAVE-HADS!! Your are now in the brotherhood of the wounded ..WOO HOO! LOL Live to ride and ride to live!
Oh boy! Isn't that a club you want to join! Do you think he knew which "your" to use before his trip?
