Did he do Born in the USA as his finale? The smart money was on that here.
We're right up on that, but as for what else went on at the Superbowl, we have no clue. One of the few things Australians have never been able to comprehend regarding US mores are the rules of American football. Or the clothes. The result is that we never see any except on old movies about college.
I suppose it makes us even for the fact that Aaron Sorkin, with his IQ of 950 or whatever it is and his passion for sports, can't grasp the rules of cricket.
Dang, I stopped having a default icon and now I keep forgetting to choose one.
What, or rather who, is that icon? You can keep the default and just click for something else on a particular post. I barely recognize you without Morticia!
I don't know the rules of American football either, since I have never once been interested, and the reason I am still married is that my husband doesn't watch it. : )
Springsteen did not do Born in the USA, which doesn't surprise me because - although the first Bush didn't notice it when he tried to use it as a campaign song- it's actually a downer. He did Tenth Avenue Freeze Out, Born to Run (of course), his new one Working on a Dream, and finished with Glory Days, his old worry that the 1980s were his last big moments. Obviously not true!
