What a delightful fic this is! I wandered over from the Frodo and Sam Scout, and I'm so glad I did. I went back and forth between laughing out loud and being charmed senseless. I love how much of Adult!Merry's character has made it into this impish child you've portrayed. And *how* like a youngster to go hunting for another baby in the vegetable patch so his beloved cousin can come home! The baby-making lesson is priceless, too. :-) Thanks for sharing this!
