Okay so like I always do I took on too much and screwed it all up. I wanted to do both law Review and moots this year, so yesterday I was last minute preparing for the moot selection round today and this afternoon after the moot I was scrambling to get my law review application finished. Vista darling, it's only the first two weeks, you must give yourself some time to settle down and breathe and not simply jump into the stress of everything as soon as you land in Edmonton. There being quite a few U of T law students in my residence, I've gotten a small taste of how stressful law school is--especially with the job applications this time of year--and, honey, I admire you so immensely for carrying it off as gracefully as you do. But no matter what, you have to take care of yourself and Burgess first; the classes and jobs and social commitments will all fall into place...and even if some little things don't work out exactly the way you planned, it's not the end of the world--you still have a wonderful life filled with the love of your family and friends, you will be an incredible, accomplished, compassionate lawyer who will truly better the lives of so many people, and you are a beautiful human being (inside and out). I think those are three very good reasons not to work yourself into a stressed frenzy this September,
