Just to let you know. I ADORE this fan vid. I've watched it God knows how many times, spammed everyone I know with it...

And it's even induced me to buy Death Cab for Cutie CD's just in order to get the song, (I'd never heard of them until this vid.)

Thank you for making this, I love it to death.

aw, thank you so much! : )

i don't know if you're interested, but i've been debating a gwen/madame du pompador xover vid...i just can't find the right music. which is no way another merlin/arthur vid (...though i do have ideas...), but it's maybe in a similar vein? i dunno who will watch it, though!

I'm not a HUGE Gwen fan, I have to admit. (She's adorable, but the series just doesn't seem to give her an awful lot of personality apart from "nice". After her father was killed they gave her absolutely NOTHING in the way of emotional repercussions or anything. I think the writers are wasting the character/actress.)

Having said that, the Madame de Pompadour crossover sounds really intriguing. Would that make Merlin the Duc de Richelieu? No wonder Richelieu was against Louis and Pompadour. (And all Richelieu's womanising was obviously a cover... *G*)

lol, i hadn't even thought of merlin! (hmmmm....that could work, though....) the idea is more of gwen somehow accesses reinette's life and tries to join her there, and the doctor has to break them apart because they're so important to their separate histories. it helps that angel coulby (gwen) is actually in "the girl in the fireplace"-she plays madame du pompadour's handmaiden.

She's adorable, but the series just doesn't seem to give her an awful lot of personality apart from "nice".
i rather agree! but that's kind of why i like the video idea...because gwen would be the one crossing between the times and taking agency...although it will be a bit tricky considering how little she's used on merlin. but, you know, in a challenging-is-fun way.

Adobe Premiere, actually. It's probably overpriced but really great.

I'm glad you liked the video! : )
