Work's been going well lately. Ha! You know, I had forgotten that this LJ had an audience that would know what was going on. I'm all for receiving help, but like I mentioned in the post, I'm probably at a point where I can actually start implementing stuff now. Though I'm still interested to know what else you think could help things along--I'll stop by tomorrow.

In times like this, I often think how wonderful it would be if I could mirror the entire enterprise on a virtual box, implement all the fixes I want there, and then show it off and say "now if you want this done in the real world, we can do it very quickly and easily -- oh and I want $100,000."

The trouble I'm having now, is that even if I did that, people would still be like, "WELL EVEN IF WE IMPLEMENTED IT YOU'D NEED TO TRAIN EVERYONE AND IT SOUNDS REALLY COMPLICATED TO MAINTAIN AND THERE'S NO GUARANTEE IT WOULD WORK BETTER ANYWAY."

I'm tellin ya man. It's like there's a secret "How to come up with a reason to avoid improving anything" handbook or something.
