wiki link personality-
There's no one way to describe the type of person Roxas is. Which is something of a surprise as he is a Nobody, technically someone who cannot display genuine human emotions as they have no heart, but he's a special case when compared to the others. It's that mix of human emotion and being a Nobody that has him being rather open with who he is.
At first look, he seems like the average teen-- if somewhat reclusive --trying to get through life as best he can and just take it one step at a time. Or at least he hopes to take it as simple as possible. But things usually don't go that way for him and he makes the best of the situation at hand. Sometimes they end well for him and other times they don't, but either way he deals with it.
It's in certain situations where he shows just a bit more than the "average guy" look, depending on the situation. If it's one where he doesn't know or understand things happening and such, then he makes sure to ask questions so that he does understand as he doesn't like the feeling of being incompetent. It's bad enough that he's reminded about his lack of memories and not knowing about anything whenever he asks, but at least for the next time he would know. A good number of times he's been down talked about his supposed lack of intelligence and he doesn't appreciate it at all, even becoming a bit snarky if he's annoyed enough about it, making retorts to even the older Nobodies of the Organization. In those cases, he makes it his goal to understand the gist of things before jumping in and just doing it, learning along the way, if necessary.
As well in that regard, he's naturally curious, wanting to know and trying to make up for the lack of memories, building up his own (at least in his time with Organization XIII) as he's always willing to learn new things or just plain wanting to have fun with friends.
When talking (demanding answers) doesn't work and it comes down to a fight, that's where a more aggressive side of him comes out. The thought of losing doesn't appeal to him very much -- particularly when he doesn't get the answers he's looking for -- so he strives to make that win, coming out as the last one standing. That determination and confidence, which sometimes crosses the border to arrogance, in knowing that he will win makes him a bit aggressive when in duels or fights, usually on the offensive and very rarely on the defense. Despite this though, he does play rather fairly, not striking someone while they're down unless the circumstance calls for it. Or he loses his temper.
And that's another thing that's hardly but can be easily shown, when Roxas is truly angry. His emotions can turn quickly, from one to another. The number one trigger is the truth about his past, who he is and the fact that he doesn't have all of his memories intact. He believes his life to be his own, his heart to be his own and not that he's actually half of someone else. In knowing what he thought was real is actually a lie aggravates him, making him want to find the answers for himself as nobody seems willing to tell him. It's easy to see when he's angry though, usually lashing out at the nearest inanimate object (or maybe even on a person, though only if they are able to defend themselves) to vent it out before calming enough to inquire about things, if questions are needed.
But on a day-to-day basis, he's as normal as can be, or at least tries/wants to be- though somewhat reclusive and a bit of a realist. Ironically or not though, he can be a little naive about certain things outside of what he knows and understands. He usually has to be prompted in doing fun stuff with friends or maybe even called out on doing something he wouldn't initiate on his own with friends. If it's a challenge, he won't turn it down and if it's something he would do with friends, he'd do it.
He experiences the same emotions as anyone else who has a heart does, which surprises the other Organization members since he shouldn't. And this is the reason why he always questions about himself and wanting the answers. His difference compared to the other Nobodies and the flashes of memories that aren't his own, yet feel so familiar, prompts him on until he finds the truth about himself.
His biggest question will always be "why" as he continues on as normally as possible, with an undercurrent of restrained emotions that occasionally leaks out.
facts-
Roxas is Sora’s Nobody, able to wield two Keyblades, and was part of an organization but defected because he wasn’t getting answers.

I shouldn't--
I'm not--
[ A frustrated sound and something that sounds like a bang on the table or a wall. The voice comes back, less confused and more angered than before. ]
What kind of place is this? Is this another simulated world like the one I was placed in before?
What's the point of going through all of this if you wanted me to join with him? Is this just some place to keep me occupied while he gets ready like with the town?
[ A sigh and a somewhat defeated tone. ]
Just... get on with it already. Cause if you don’t, then there’s no point in me sticking around any longer.
sample prose post-
Nothing was as he thought it had been, believed it all to be. False memories and false friendships, there wasn't anything more terrifying than knowing that what one thought wasn't as it seemed. And with terror comes anger.
Roxas hadn't want any of this. The only thing he wanted was his own life to live, to be a normal teenager. He didn't ask to have these dreams that happen to be actual memories. They were someone else's memories, someone else who had lived and experienced them all, even if they were hard to believe for someone who thought he was "normal." Really, different worlds and people who could travel to them? It didn't seem very likely.
But now he had to believe, being told that that person he had been seeing in his dreams was his other self. That he was a part of that person and needed to join him so that he could be complete. He wanted to believe that his heart was his own, that his life was his own, but the return of old memories and the facts that were thrown in his face, he couldn't do very much but do what they wanted.
He still wanted to know though, wanted to find the answers to his questions that he'd had since he started having those flashes of memories during his time with Organization XIII.
Maybe a part of him thought that he would finally be able to find those answers if he was with Sora, that he would finally be able to see the reason why his other was chosen over himself. Why he wasn't given a heart of his own. He just wished it wouldn't take long to find the answers that he wanted; he'd already waited long enough.
ETA:
But it looks like he’d have to wait again, if the place he was currently at was any indication. Blue eyes glanced around, taking in the sights with a questioning look apparent on his face. This place wasn’t like any others he’d ever been to; or rather, from what he remembered from his memories at least. His and Sora’s.
There was something odd about the area, but that could always be said for any world and he’d been to quite a few to know that not every place is the same as the last or next. Each one had it’s own features. And despite him not wanting it to, instincts garnered from his time with the organization began to take over him: scout the area, determine what kind of place this was, and keep in mind any small details to be used at a later time.
“What is this?” He asked as he stepped up to a building, hand extended to touch it. It looked like any other regular buildings he’d seen before but there was just something... And when his hand finally touched it, he knew why it was different.
Fingertips brushed the surface before he rubbed them together, getting a feel for it before deciding what it is. “Chalk? Is this place made out of chalk?” Another glance around didn’t give him any more answers than the first time.
It looked like he would need to find the answers on his own, just like he always had to when it concerned with himself. And he would start by asking the person who just walked by, as if not affected by the fact that the place had chalk all over it. A local obviously.
“Hey wait! I wanna ask you something.”
Really, what was going on around here?
questions?- what is questions :x
