Yesterday was a big day for me, I took Gracie to the park and we played hide n' seek with walkie talkies. I am of course a better hider and a better seeker but I place that on my years of experience. it's scary how good it can feel throwing things away.

the dove and finch might be contemplating lawn domination. but i think they might just be admiring that fine bird house you live in. :)

Seeing as how my name means "finch" in German, maybe the dove was descending upon my lawn to inform us finches that a higher authority would be taking over our little birdhouse. And then they'll take over the lawn and move in, and then everyone will stroll by and hear chirping at all hours of the night and say, "Remember those people who used to live in that house? I wonder what happened to them..." and meanwhile my family will be running around arms flapping, snapping at worms.

Or it could have just been a coincidence.
