February 19th is Vitas' Birthday!

Our boy's birthday is just over one month away.

This might be a good opportunity to do something nice and at the same time try to raise the profile of Western fans.

I thought perhaps something akin to the Sean Maher postcard project where fans the world over sent postcards to be collected in a book and given Maher. 
A month is too short a period to do

Answered this over at Yahoo group also. This is an awesome idea. Let's do something! I don't know a physical address for fanmail. Does anyone? I can probably get one if they give one at all-but I don't know for sure.

If you think it is a good idea, I would be happy to make a special page to post fan messages and pictures on vitasusa.com. We can then email that to the site admin. I am sure she will pass it on. Open to any other ideas and will help anyway I can!

Right now the only physical address I have is the one posted on the official site for the drawings exhibition. I've emailed them to ask where to send paper mail and I expect that they will answer soon, since they've been very good about that in the past.

I'd love it if people scanned or photographed the cards, photos, drawings or whatever that they are sending so we have our own scrapbook and to help encourage the rest. We can make a page of these images over on vitasusa.com

I'll try to come up with a nice graphic and a 'manifesto' to refer people to, and post it here tonight or tomorrow. I guess I should shoot it over to the myspace page as well at that point.

BTW, does anyone know if the Chinese fans are up to anything we should link to?
