There's talk that Vitas may be planning to hit the US in the Fall.

I spammed the website administration several times and they said he was planning on touring Germany this year, too.

And I'm more than sure that this is false info. Knowing Pudovkin very well, it is too unlikely that he would organize great concert tours of Vitas abroad without great advertisments beforehand. Usually he starts advertising activity beforehand, within a few months ahead of the concerts. For comparison: The promotion activity on Vitas' tour in China in this June was began as early as last summer. And since that time, all Russian mass media have shouted about this event. If Vitas and Pudovkin were planning to make an abroad tour this autumn, the reaction of Russian mass media would be the same. But they keep deep silence. :)

Vitas coming to US

Fall sounds too soon for us not to have heard. Sure hope for next year at least. Anna says the China tour was publicized way last summer. Looks to me like they are way too busy with Asia right now, but we can hope. The more popular he gets over there, the more he should be recognized here. Good for him, good for us! If he does not come next year, I am off to Russia! Only they don't put his schedule up (except for the big concerts like the premier) soon enough to plan a trip. Darn it.
