"It is a bit embarrassing to have been concerned with the human problem all one's life and find at the end that one has no more to offer by way of advice than 'try to be a little kinder.'"  ~Aldous Huxley

Those lady men are very wise. I got their new CD last week. :) And, yes! Kindness. It's so simple and so profound. (And I'm learning that when I'm not kind, it's best to fess up and apologize immediately. I was rude to someone at a drive-thru window a few weeks ago and I think she was really surprised when I apologized.)

how sad that she was surprised when you apologized. she probably deals with rude people all day who never apologize. they probably never even recognize that they should apologize. i was rude to a cashier a while back for something that was my fault, but i didn't realize it was my mistake until hours later. i made myself go back and apologize. he seemed surprised, too, but also grateful. yes, so simple and yet so profound.

and yes, love those lady men!:-)
