January is flying by, yikes. I'm getting closer and closer to my trip to South Africa, which is a good thing. Work is going pretty well. I like it a lot actually. I have a lot of flexibility and it's not too much stress. The money is decent, so I'm happy. What I really like is being back in the City. I get to see all my friends all the time ( Read more... )

I am glad things are going well. I want to see Hotel Rwanda too. I have studied the genocide between the two groups in school, and it is horrible that happened. Perhaps, it is worse that the international community did very little. We all know the UN is bunch of crap and they can do very little, but show a presence, but they have nothing when it comes down to it. The US and the UK should have been doing more than we did, so it wouldn't have escalated to how far it did. Ethnic cleansing is still happening in some countries in Africa...Liberia I think is going through something similar. It is so horrible, because these people are relentless and vicious and kill so many people. I will def. see the movie. Hope work is going well. Oh by the way, if you hadn't gotten the memo--It's fuckin cold out. ;)
