well...how badly were you counting on that $1600? I mean, you don't have that money right this instant so if you can do without it...move!
if you plan on living in that apartment for two years, you will get that $1600 back in 22 months from the $75/mo savings. Plus, Wyatt will have his own room and there will be more space for his toys and whatnot...
I guess it really boils down to how bad you need that security deposit.
it's a quality of life choice. considering the new place will save you $900/year in rent... you're effectively paying $700 for a year's worth of better living (assuming you can afford that). but then....
after 2 years you will have broken even
beyond that you'll actually have saved money by moving
and people say they'll never need algebra after school
June is half a year away! You deserve the space for your family. Sounds pretty good if you could live without a dishwasher. I for one, could not! But they do have those ones that you can hook up to your sink.
