i've never seen it, but now i don't know if i want to, being that Punch Drunk Love was the only movie i have never finished watching, because i thought it was just that bad

It's not similar in story or humor at all (I don't think this movie even has any/much humor in it), it's that jim carrey playing a serious role and a character that is very flawed (close-minded, shy, nervous, insecure, etc..)
