Introducing my new username!

Hi everyone, this is the artist formerly known as savvyelfpirate, writing to let you all know that I have changed my username to viva_lla_gloria. I hope this won't be too confusing or annoying for you all to get used to. For the past few months I was starting to feel like I'd outgrown my old username and I'm just not the same person I was when I first got this

Usually when I first get online I check my e-mail and I saw a comment from your new user name here and I was like 0.o totally confused as to how this name got on my friends list but, than when I logged in and clicked the user name and read this post I was like ooooooo, ok..Bethany got a new user name. =) It's a really pretty one and I'm glad that it has a special meaning for you. Since LJ introduced the new add a note to an LJ user name I added a note to yours to let me know who you are until I get used to your new name since I have been soooo used to your old one.

Sorry for the momentary confusion! ;) That's a great idea to add a note to my username for the time being. I know it's taken me awhile to get used to the change when my friends have changed their usernames.

I liked my old username but it was just something silly I chose when I first signed up for a journal and I couldn't think of anything clever. I've wanted something more meaningful for a long time but it took me ages to come up with something I liked.

I'm very happy with my new username, but like you said it will take some getting used to for me as well. I will probably continue to type in the old one for quite some time! But I'm glad to have a username that is more meaningful to me.

There are so many great lyrics in those songs, and the one you quoted is one of my favorites. I often listen to that song when I'm going to work - I think it helps me feel better in some odd way. I highly recommend downloading those songs. They're fantastic, especially the "Little Girl" version.
