I've always imagined that paradise will be a library.

I've been meaning to keep track of the books I read for a long time and this year I finally started a list of all the books I've read. I'll try to keep updating it periodically; I'm pretty curious to see how many books I read in a year.

You know you share an icon when you see it and go, "Wait, I didn't make a post with that title!" ;) (But if I'm sharing an icon with anyone, I'm glad it's you) <3

I LOVE 'Blackbird House'. It's one of my favorite AH books (along with 'Practical Magic' and 'The Probable Future').

Grace Slick wrote a book? Intriguing.

What did you think of 'The Tenth Circle'?

I have to go over to GoodReads now because two of the titles have me interested. :)

Heh, I always get confused when I see someone using one of my icons too!

I loved "Blackbird House" too. I've been trying to read all of AH's books and "Practical Magic" is my favorite so far. I haven't read "The Probable Future" yet.

Yep, Grace Slick's book is her autobiography and it's fascinating and hilarious. I've probably read it a dozen times or more.

"The Tenth Circle" was great. There were some triggering parts related to rape and depression, but I kept with it because it was a page-turner like most of Jodi Picoult's novels. I'm glad I stayed with it. I enjoyed it and the ending really took me by surprise.

hey I'm glad I'm not the only one who keeps track of what books I read...I've actually kept track since 8th or 9th grade! We're twins!

I've actually been meaning to keep track for ages because I wanted to see how many books I finish each year. I finally started keeping a list this year. That's pretty cool that you've been keeping track for so long!

Have you ever been to goodreads.com?

It is an awesome website for you to keep track of the books you have read, want to read, own, etc. You can rate the books, write/read reviews, get suggestions. There are polls and quizzes. It's pretty awesome. I've been using it since Feb (from the suggestion of another LJ user) and haven't found a book website to top it yet.

If you decide to join, I'm kayprime on goodreads. Feel free to add me there if you want.

I've never actually been to goodreads.com, but I really should because a lot of my friends seem to use it. With as much as I read, I can use any help I can get with keeping track of what I want to read and suggestions for what to read next. It sounds like a cool site.

Hi and thanks for the add! :)

I was meaning to do this for years, finally started and now I have about 20-30 more books I've read this year that I haven't put on the list yet, haha. I am a major procrastinator.
