I'm going to look around for a VOB of the Viennese cast. I'd really love to see this. It's waaay better than Elisabeth. I'm singling that one out because I've come across so many people (Americans specifically) that just adore it. I've listened to the first half of one of the recordings of it so far but haven't been able to bring myself to listen to the rest because the first half was just... eh. Not impressive.

Looks like more work ahead of me with searching for lyrics and translating. I'm vaguely familiar with the story of Rebecca; I saw the movie once but it was a while back. I read that this show is pretty faithful to the book so I'm going to have to see if it's available at one of my libraries.
