When I worked in the pharmacy, people's copays would go up and we had no control over it, honestly. And the best explanation we had was that the actual price of the drug went up. So like if the drug is $100, and your insurance covers 60%, then you pay $40. But if they price goes up to $200, your insurance still only covers 60%, so you end up paying $80. Sometimes there were other explanations, though, like people's plans changed and they just didn't realize it. But either way, it just sucks. I absolutely hate this system, the entire thing between doctors and patients and pharmacies and drug companies. It's terrible, and if I start talking about, I get really angry.

Yeah, the system is seriously screwed up. It seems to be more about making money than helping people.

I got my driver's license last October and I haven't driven since, though I think I want to soon. I need to keep practicing!
