If you could travel anywhere, where and why?

If you could travel anywhere, where and why?I love this question, because I'm such a traveler at heart. There are so many places I want to go and see. Travelling, at least for me, gives you an opportunity to expand your mind and your experiences. Two things control this list, my love for gorgeous landscapes and my love for history. It was kind of ( Read more... )

Nope. I've never traveled, but I really want to one day! My mom used to live in Hawaii. She loved it there and wants to move back eventually. It seems like everyone who has ever been to Hawaii has dreams of living there. It makes me want to go lol!

Same! I've actually never been out of the country before, but hopefully one day.

That's exactly how it is for me. So many people have told me how great Hawaii is, I need to know if it's like how they say.

Hawaii is a great place to visit, but I would so not recommend living there, aha. I'm not sure when your mom visited, but...well...the traffic is the second worst in the nation (second only to LA...yep, we even beat NYC), it's really hard to find a job because there are a million people on one tiny island, and it is SO. DAMN. EXPENSIVE! *sobs* But yeah, I hope you get to go there one day :) <3 & sorry for the rant aha! <3

She lived in Molokai over 20 years ago and visited a few years back. She went to Oahu, which is the most popular and the most expensive island lol. I know it's expensive out there! Her then boyfriend was pissed that his cigarettes were twice the price lmao. You'd think he'd have remembered that since he used to live in Oahu!

It's okay, I haven't been to any of them either. One day, right? I wish I didn't hate airplanes so much!

Paris will never stop to amaze me. I'm so in love with it. I've gone several times (I live about one hour away from the French border) and every time I go back I find it more beautiful than the previous time. One can never get tired of Paris, no matter how many times you go is always like visiting a different city <3

I'd love to go to the US :) Anywhere in there, but specially New York. And California.

I've been to both New York (born and raised there, actually) and California, and of the two I love California more. New York has some absolutely wonderful sights though. If you ever get the chance, I'd recommend checking out the Sleepy Hollow/Hudson Valley area. It's really beautiful, especially in the autumn.

I can only imagine how wonderful Paris must be. I fell in love with the idea of it in my French classes, and it would be such a shame to never get to experience it for myself.

You'll love London, Paris, and Italy. They are all so beautiful and wonderful in their own unique ways. I've only been to Rome in Italy, but, while it is extremely hot in the summer, the cool nights and lovely ambiance more than make up for it. And history! All of these places have great museums and landmarks.

Add to that my years as an English major emphasis in British Lit, and my life would be a complete failure if I never made it out to London. - Same! :D I also have relatives in England, and I'd love to see them again.

I'd also love to go to Spain and Japan someday :)

The history of these places is what really draws me in. I love history in all forms, and museums are just the best. When I do finally get out there, I'm going to need to make sure I have plenty of time to explore and soak it all in. :)

My maternal great-grandparents lived in England, so I'd love to see if I have any other family over there still.

Spain and Japan, yes! I wouldn't mind seeing either of them.
