to give you a heads up, E and I are kicking around the idea of a Baltimore/DC road trip to (a) see my brother in Baltimore, (b) kick back in the old 'hood with my high school homies and (c) take him to the Smithsonian since he's never been. This would be a 4 day quick turn around but it sure would be stellar to run amuk with you if you were around. Either February or April break from school. We can even lose my car. ;)

Vampire Weekend are pretty interesting. They're these recent Columbia grads who kinda mix that indie/garage-y New York sound (think The Walkmen) with some beats that sound like they've come straight out of West Africa. You might like Man Man.
