Apparently deer live up here. Last thing I expected to see when I went out to move my car - some deer in the middle of the freaking road. Kinda had to stand there for a moment and go, "Whoa." Sweet.

Sent in writer applications to The DCist and cokemachineglow. The DCist sounds interested at least - and I'll find out more after July 4th. Spoon played a free show last night in Atlanta. It was a little weird - in a country club setting - so you've got the rich yuppie country club types mixed in with like - the old guy in the Buzzcocks t-shirt and people like me, Ryan, Aliya, Rich and Austin (both Austins!) who are kind of staples at shows...but not country clubs. I saw the Dismemberment Plan last night. I'm going to try to get in again tonight. It was that amazing. I had a grin on my face that was just enormous the entire time. I got up onstage for the Ice of Boston. And I got mine and Chris MG's posters signed. Chris does not know this, yet. He will flip out, I do not doubt. I'm...amazed. Wow.

Two weeks ago I saw Of Montreal Karaoke. I just heard the title of the event and knew I had to see this for myself - but it helped that it was a benefit to help suicide prevention.
