I would feel horrible taking it, I know you're having money troubles as well :(

Whenever I hit hard times, it isn't like a slope where I know its coming and could probably pull myself out, it just hits all at once.

Lol you didn't make me, I wanted to do it for you and your kids. Mine came from a lot of big transactions that all came at once and buried me.

:(

Are you working right now? I realized I don't actually know your situation at all. I know you're in school...but do you have any free days at all? Maybe you can sign up with a temp agency on a free day.

Or maybe babysitting or something, since you like to work with kids. I know, who wants to add more crap on top of everything else? But maybe it would help out in the short term. Worry about the rent and the cell phone and gas more than anything else. ::hugs::

I wish I could send something or help somehow, but at this moment, I'm not really in that position...at least not enough to actually help with anything.

I'm not working right now, since we decided that if I'm graduating next semester that it would be in my best interest to focus on school and not let anything get in the way. Now that bit me in the ass.

We're going to call his grandma and see if we can't get a loan that I can pay back after my student loans roll over.

that's good. do what you need to do. there's always little part time stuff you can pick up...I wouldn't suggest full time at all.

I'm doing full time work and full time grad school AND a second job and it sucks more than anything in the world. I can't wait to be DONE in August. I wouldn't wish it upon anyone else. But if you need quick cash to get you through a couple of bills, babysitting is great, especially if you go later in the evening--kids might be asleep and you can do homework!

Thanks :)

I've been a couple days late paying the rent in the past but I realized today that I've been paying them $10 more than I'm supposed to, by my own error, so maybe they will take that in account.

Hi, new friend! I was convinced we were right for each other when I saw your Trogdor drawing on your DH's cast. ;) (I can even forget the UF and Steelers love.)

Ugh, hate this situation. :( I was in it for years, and it's so hard to pull yourself out. I definitely agree with a previous comment, to contact your creditors and see what you can work out. Credit card companies are assholes, but other companies -- cell phone, landlord, etc -- are typically more compassionate. I hope you're able to pull yourself out soon!

Oh, and BTW, beautiful wedding. :) Congrats to you and your husband!
