I have a dyson, it's broke, twice. It's hard to find someone who fixes them, and it's also expensive to fix. I gave in a few years ago and bought an Oreck (after killing numerous less than $90 vacuums), and it does the job. Bonus is they do a yearly maintenance for free (depends on model you buy.) I still have the dyson, the only thing I use is the telescoping handle/hose to de-fur the steps.

Hope you enjoy your thanksgiving. And I like your idea for black friday, except I have a rule to not leave the house. :)

Which one do you have? My mom has the animal and uses it everyday with 2 giant white dogs and looooves hers. That's the only experience that I've ever had with one haha.
