peacock feather tattoo
I got a new tattoo.
Very fresh, less than an hour old and propped up on my friend's toilet haha.
Later that night, after some of the swelling went down
Today, still sore as all hell but healing nicely :)
Here's a close up of the detail. I think it's gorgeous. The color is all individual lines, nothing is filled in. It took something like 2 1/2 hours and we had to go over a huge protruding vein in my foot that feels wonderful right about now but it was SO worth it. Of course, I freaked out and acted like an ass until I actually was sitting there getting it done. The pain was definitely not as bad as I expected but when he hit that vein, I totally jumped. Going around my ankle really sucked a lot too but I would totally get one on my other foot. I'm tough :)
I'm already planning my next one, which will go either on my hip or on my back/ribcage area and here it is
