Context: Gabriel is my future, pudgy, Brazilian, economist husband. He just doesn't know it yet. He was talking to Bridget today online since he'll be coming in December. And he made this comment about me not having made the most of my time in Rio because I was with Covero, someone I knew I was going to break up with. Yeah. Maybe so. I have mixed feelings about it, especially now with Covero M.I.A., but what's done is done. Anyway, damn his hot, hot girlfriend for getting in the way of our love!

I bought pumpkins today. It was a cornucopia of emotions driving down Rt. 66 to find them, especially with the rain. Fall is here, and along with it, shockingly vibrant colored leaves plastered to the wet pavement. My cheeks got red and my fingers numb...I felt melancholy, confusion, calm, and then relief that it's all changing.
I'm considering taking up bulimia in these times of stress, by the way. Sarah Rice says that to her mom to piss her off. She's such a funny girl! I would work out but I have no time, it has been study study study. So I figure binging and purging will do the trick to release stress, and it only takes 5 minutes! Plus I hear fucked up teeth are the new black.
