I actually didn't see Brokeback just because it looked like a "serious movie" of the type that I've grown to be wary of on principle.

"Night Watch," on the other hand, rocks, in an understated Russian vampire epic fantasy way. I need to see it again, I think.

Yay! Just the sort of thinks i thinks i thinks i know and love.

And I didn't dislike the gay sheepherder flick, but did think it could've been edited down to a slightly less bladder-busting length. It did drag in parts. I guess that's what happens when you turn a short story into a screenplay.

And I did appreciate the gay sheepherder flick for allowing us to behold Anne Hathaway's lovely lady lumps to make up for exposing us to Jake Gyllenhall's hairy, yet manly, bum.

"Night Watch" looks like real incoherent fun in the way only Russian filmmakers can do. I heard that the SFX were sort of dodgy, though.

And BSG rocks! Can't wait for the new Dr. Who too.
